Senior Frontend Developer - React

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join their innovative team and work remotely from Plymouth . You will be responsible for building and maintaining responsive, user-friendly interfaces for their flagship web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, primarily React . This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects, influence architectural decisions, and contribute to a high-performance, user-centric product. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, reusable, and performant frontend code using React and related libraries.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, visually appealing user interfaces.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the team's technical growth.
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, ensuring a smooth and reliable user experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development , with a strong focus on JavaScript frameworks.
• Expertise in React and its ecosystem (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Webpack) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment.
