About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer with a specialization in React to join their team in Southampton . Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain responsive and accessible user interfaces using React and related libraries.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into high-quality, functional code.
• Optimize application components for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and champion frontend best practices.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and contribute to technical discussions regarding product development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend web development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript , HTML5, and CSS3.
• Extensive experience with the React library and its ecosystem (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).
• Understanding of RESTful API principles and asynchronous request handling.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and version control (Git) is essential.
