Senior Frontend Developer (React)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer with a strong focus on React to join their innovative technology hub in Belfast . You will be responsible for translating design mockups and wireframes into high-quality, maintainable code, collaborating closely with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to bring digital products to life. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy responsive and accessible user interfaces using React and its ecosystem (Redux, Context API).
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate visual concepts and wireframes into functional, pixel-perfect web components.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code.
• Optimize frontend performance for speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and mentor junior frontend developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development .
• Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frontend frameworks, particularly React .
• Strong understanding of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and component libraries.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and build tools (Webpack, Vite).
