Senior Frontend Developer - Vue.js

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Developer with expertise in Vue.js to join their fully remote engineering team. You will lead the development of dynamic and responsive user interfaces for their innovative web applications, driving best practices and mentoring junior developers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sophisticated user interfaces using Vue.js and its ecosystem (Vuex, Vue Router).
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality, interactive web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code, adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend bugs and issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of applications.
• Mentor and guide junior frontend developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional frontend development experience, with at least 3 years focused on Vue.js development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, including experience with preprocessors like Sass or Less.
• In-depth knowledge of Vue.js core concepts, state management (Vuex), and routing (Vue Router).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and modern build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
• Familiarity with Git and Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong understanding of frontend architecture and design patterns.
