About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and creative Senior Frontend Developer to join their innovative digital team in Southampton . You will be responsible for developing user-friendly, responsive, and engaging web applications that provide an exceptional user experience. This role involves translating design mockups and wireframes into high-quality code, collaborating with backend developers and UX/UI designers, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our client's digital presence. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using modern frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Implement user interfaces based on designs and wireframes, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and usability across various devices and screen sizes.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to establishing frontend development standards and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development and propose innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of professional experience in frontend development .
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, including preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
