Senior Frontend Developer

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join their distributed engineering team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for building and maintaining intuitive, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces for our web applications. Working closely with backend developers and UI/UX designers, you will translate complex requirements into elegant and efficient code, ensuring an exceptional user experience. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to coding standards.
• Optimize application performance for speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs and implement pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior frontend developers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development .
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• In-depth experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
