Senior Frontend Developer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join their innovative product development team, working entirely remotely, with a strong presence in Southampton . You will be responsible for building and maintaining user-friendly, high-performance web applications. This role requires a deep understanding of modern frontend technologies, a passion for creating exceptional user interfaces, and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code. You will collaborate with backend developers, UX designers, and product managers to deliver seamless digital experiences for our global customer base, contributing to a culture that values technical excellence and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate visual concepts and wireframes into functional, interactive components.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and mentoring junior developers.
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend applications with server-side logic and APIs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend web development .
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• In-depth experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex).
• Experience with build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
