About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join their growing IT and Software department in Belfast . You will be responsible for architecting and implementing engaging user interfaces for our cutting-edge web applications. This role requires a deep understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks, a keen eye for design, and a passion for creating seamless user experiences. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to translate complex requirements into intuitive and performant interfaces, playing a key role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our digital products.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Collaborate with designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
Optimize frontend performance for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to coding standards.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members.
Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of experience in professional frontend development.
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
In-depth experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and build tools (e.g., Webpack).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
