About the Role
Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join their growing IT and Software department in Belfast . You will be responsible for architecting and implementing engaging user interfaces for our cutting-edge web applications. This role requires a deep understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks, a keen eye for design, and a passion for creating seamless user experiences. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to translate complex requirements into intuitive and performant interfaces, playing a key role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our digital products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Collaborate with designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
- Optimize frontend performance for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in professional frontend development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- In-depth experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and build tools (e.g., Webpack).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
