About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join their distributed engineering team. In this fully remote role, you will take ownership of developing and implementing engaging, responsive, and performant user interfaces for our cutting-edge web applications. You will collaborate closely with UX designers and backend engineers to translate complex requirements into seamless user experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reusable frontend code using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior frontend developers.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks and bugs, ensuring a robust and reliable user experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a strong portfolio showcasing complex web applications.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Deep understanding and practical experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Experience with state management libraries, build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite), and testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility (WCAG), and web performance optimization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote-first team environment.
