About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Frontend Developer to join their innovative team in Edinburgh . You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers to translate designs into high-quality, maintainable code. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces for web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs and optimal user experience.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize application components for maximum speed, scalability, and usability across various devices and browsers.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior frontend developers.
- Work with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Extensive experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.
- Experience with build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment in Edinburgh .
