About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and creative Senior Frontend Developer to join their expanding digital product team in Plymouth . This role is essential for building intuitive, responsive, and engaging user interfaces that define our customer experience. You will lead the implementation of complex front-end features, collaborating closely with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to create seamless digital products. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement high-quality, responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional and visually appealing web pages.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to front-end architectural decisions.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
Expertise with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js).
Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
Understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards, with a keen eye for detail in Plymouth .
