About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and creative Senior Frontend Developer to join their expanding digital product team in Plymouth . This role is essential for building intuitive, responsive, and engaging user interfaces that define our customer experience. You will lead the implementation of complex front-end features, collaborating closely with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to create seamless digital products. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement high-quality, responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional and visually appealing web pages.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to front-end architectural decisions.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Expertise with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
- Understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards, with a keen eye for detail in Plymouth .
