About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and creative Senior Frontend Developer to join their innovative digital team, working remotely from Leeds . You will be responsible for crafting exceptional user interfaces and experiences for their suite of web applications. This role requires a deep understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks, responsive design principles, and a passion for creating intuitive, high-performing user experiences. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to bring product visions to life, driving the frontend strategy and ensuring a consistently high standard of user interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
- Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional and visually appealing web applications.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and style guides.
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and best practices, advocating for their adoption where appropriate.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Deep understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a remote setting.
