Senior Frontend Engineer - React Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Frontend Engineer with a specialization in React to join their dynamic team in Edinburgh . Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, performant, and responsive user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into actual code, ensuring a pixel-perfect implementation.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and participate actively in code reviews to ensure quality standards.
• Optimize frontend performance for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
• Mentor junior frontend engineers and contribute to establishing frontend development best practices and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in frontend web development .
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks, with a deep expertise in React .
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, asynchronous request handling, and modern JavaScript concepts (ES6+).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and teamwork abilities.
