About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer with a specialization in React to join their dynamic team in Nottingham . You will be instrumental in developing user-facing features for their web applications, focusing on creating intuitive, performant, and engaging user experiences. This role involves collaborating closely with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to translate complex requirements into elegant and functional interfaces. Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, reusable, and scalable UI components using React and associated libraries.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement user interfaces that align with design specifications and user needs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code.
• Implement robust testing strategies, including unit and integration testing for frontend components.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior frontend developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development .
• Expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with a deep understanding of modern frontend frameworks, particularly React .
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and cross-browser compatibility issues.
