Senior Frontend Engineer (Web3)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Frontend Engineer with a passion for Web3 and blockchain technologies to join their team in Southampton . You will be responsible for building intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our decentralized applications, bridging the gap between complex blockchain functionalities and user experience. This role requires a strong understanding of modern frontend frameworks and a keen interest in the evolving crypto landscape. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces for Web3 applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
• Integrate frontend applications with blockchain networks using libraries like ethers.js or web3.js.
• Implement user authentication and wallet connection functionalities for decentralized applications.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional user interfaces.
• Optimize frontend performance for speed and scalability across various devices.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and contribute to the overall frontend architecture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a focus on modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Proven experience working with blockchain technologies and Web3 concepts.
• Proficiency in interacting with smart contracts from the frontend.
• Strong understanding of state management, API integration, and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with cryptographic principles and wallet management (e.g., MetaMask).
