About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join their dedicated team in Sheffield . You will be responsible for developing and implementing user-facing features, ensuring a high-quality and responsive user experience across various devices and browsers. This role involves close collaboration with UI/UX designers and backend developers to translate concepts into functional, engaging web applications. You will have the opportunity to contribute to technical decisions, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovation within a dynamic and collaborative office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, visually appealing web pages.
• Write clean, efficient, well-tested, and maintainable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior frontend developers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development .
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and at least one modern frontend framework.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques and accessibility standards .
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
