Senior Frontend Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and creative Senior Frontend Engineer to enhance their IT and Software team in Liverpool . This role is critical for building intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces for our client's web applications. You will lead the development of complex UI components, collaborate with designers and backend engineers, and champion best practices in frontend development. Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable frontend code using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React , Angular, Vue.js).
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional and engaging web interfaces.
• Optimize application performance for speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior frontend developers.
• Champion frontend best practices, accessibility standards, and testing strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in frontend development .
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proven experience with at least one major JavaScript framework like React , Angular, or Vue.js.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous request handling, and build tools (Webpack, Babel).
• Strong grasp of UI/UX principles, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.
