About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join their vibrant product development team in Liverpool . You will be responsible for crafting exceptional user experiences by building and maintaining responsive, performant, and accessible web interfaces. Working closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers, you will translate complex requirements into elegant and functional code. This role offers the chance to influence frontend architecture, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to a product that reaches a wide audience, all within a company culture that values innovation, collaboration, and user-centric design. Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into interactive web applications.
- Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability.
- Mentor junior frontend developers and participate actively in code reviews and architectural discussions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript , including ES6+.
- Expertise in at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and build tools (e.g., Webpack).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
