Senior Full Stack Developer - E-commerce

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic e-commerce team based in Cardiff . You will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing their online retail platform, working across the entire technology stack to deliver seamless user experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications across the full stack.
• Implement new user-facing features using modern front-end technologies and frameworks.
• Develop and optimize server-side logic, APIs, and database interactions.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other engineers to define and implement new features.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and participate in agile development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies like React , Angular, or Vue.js, and associated libraries.
• Solid experience with back-end languages such as Node.js , Python, Java, or Ruby, and frameworks like Express, Django, or Spring.
• Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and API design principles (RESTful).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
