Senior Full Stack Developer - FinTech

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing FinTech firm in Wolverhampton , is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to contribute to the development of innovative financial solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using modern frameworks and technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, Python).
• Build and manage scalable back-end services, APIs, and databases, ensuring data security and integrity.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, participating actively in code reviews and agile ceremonies.
• Optimize application performance, identify and resolve bugs, and implement improvements to enhance user experience.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the technical direction of the platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development, with expertise in both front-end (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java) technologies.
• Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
