Senior Full Stack Developer - Fintech

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Design and implement robust back-end services and APIs using languages like Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to manage and query complex financial data efficiently.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, optimizing for speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, participating in code reviews and pair programming sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack web development, with at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
• Proficiency in both front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end development.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of database technologies, security principles, and API design.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, comfortable working in an office-based role in Cardiff .
