Senior Full Stack Developer - JavaScript & Node.js

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Developer to join their progressive team in Norwich . Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Node.js and associated frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
• Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using modern frontend JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Design and implement efficient database schemas and queries for relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into high-quality software solutions.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and contribute to improving development processes and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, including Node.js for backend development.
• Proven experience with at least one modern frontend JavaScript framework (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
• Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data modeling.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
