About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Developer to join their progressive team in Norwich . This role requires a deep understanding of both frontend and backend development, with a particular emphasis on JavaScript and Node.js technologies. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications and services that power our client's core business operations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Node.js and associated frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
- Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using modern frontend JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
- Design and implement efficient database schemas and queries for relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into high-quality software solutions.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and contribute to improving development processes and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, including Node.js for backend development.
- Proven experience with at least one modern frontend JavaScript framework (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data modeling.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
