Senior Full Stack Developer - JavaScript

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly versatile and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer proficient in JavaScript to join their dynamic development team in Derby . This role is pivotal in developing and enhancing both the frontend and backend components of our client's web applications, ensuring a seamless and robust user experience. You will have the opportunity to work across the entire technology stack, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior developers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain both frontend (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend (e.g., Node.js, Express.js) components of web applications.
• Design and implement robust APIs and services, ensuring efficient data exchange between frontend and backend.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and user experience across various devices and browsers.
• Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, adhering to best practices.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to define project requirements and deliver features.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers on the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development , with a strong focus on JavaScript .
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong experience with backend development using Node.js and associated frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
• Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.
