Senior Full Stack Developer - MERN Stack

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer proficient in the MERN stack to join their innovative team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role involves the end-to-end development of dynamic web applications, from designing intuitive user interfaces to building robust backend services. You will play a key part in shaping our client's digital products, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that drive business growth and enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Design and implement user-friendly and responsive front-end interfaces using React.
• Build and optimize robust backend APIs and server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
• Manage and interact with MongoDB databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient querying.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js, React, and MongoDB.
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of front-end development principles, including responsive design and UI/UX best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
