About the Role
Our client is seeking a versatile and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer proficient in both Node.js and React to join their established development team in Liverpool . This role involves contributing to all aspects of the web development lifecycle, from backend API development to frontend user interface implementation. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications that serve a diverse user base. Working in a dedicated office environment, you'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver innovative solutions and drive product enhancements. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and associated frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
- Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using React and modern frontend technologies.
- Design and manage databases (SQL/NoSQL) ensuring data integrity and efficient querying.
- Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both frontend and backend components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including backend development with Node.js and frontend development with React .
- Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design principles and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.
