Senior Full Stack Developer (Remote)

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join their distributed engineering team, supporting operations across the UK, including from Belfast . You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications and features, working closely with product managers and designers to bring innovative ideas to life. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications, contributing to both front-end and back-end codebases.
• Build robust and scalable RESTful APIs using modern frameworks such as Node.js or Python/Django.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security across various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers in a remote team setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Strong proficiency in both front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frameworks like React/Angular/Vue) and back-end development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote work environment.
