About the Role
Our client, a cutting-edge software company based near Cambridge , is seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join their fully remote engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable web applications, working across both front-end and back-end technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications, including front-end interfaces and back-end services and databases.
- Write clean, efficient, well-tested, and maintainable code using modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, React, Angular).
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define features, architecture, and technical requirements.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security across the entire stack.
- Participate in code reviews, agile development processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex application development.
- Proficiency in both front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React/Angular/Vue) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Solid understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities, essential for working effectively in a fully remote team based out of Cambridge .
