Senior Full Stack Developer - SaaS Platforms

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to contribute to the advancement of their SaaS platforms within the IT & Software team located in Oxford . This role involves designing, developing, and deploying robust web applications, ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems. Working in a hybrid model, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications, encompassing both front-end and back-end components using modern technologies.
• Design and implement robust APIs and microservices to support platform functionality.
• Optimize application performance, database interactions, and server-side logic for efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver features.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, ensuring high availability of SaaS products .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full stack development.
• Strong proficiency in front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby).
• Expertise in designing and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-quality software.
