About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Developer to join their dedicated engineering team in Stoke-on-Trent . You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our innovative software solutions. This role requires a broad understanding of the entire development lifecycle, from database management and server-side logic to user interface implementation. You will work on challenging projects, contributing to the architecture, scalability, and performance of our applications, collaborating closely with product managers and other engineers to deliver robust and user-friendly products. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust back-end services and APIs using server-side languages and frameworks.
- Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern web technologies.
- Manage and optimize database structures and queries for performance and scalability.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code for both front-end and back-end components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, technical specifications, and solution designs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering complex web applications.
- Proficiency in one or more server-side programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, C#) and associated frameworks.
- Strong experience with front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Expertise in database design and management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
