About the Role
Our client is seeking a versatile and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join their innovative technology team based in Bristol . You will play a key role in the entire software development lifecycle, from designing user-facing elements to building robust server-side logic and databases. This role requires a blend of technical expertise across the stack, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating high-quality, scalable applications. You'll collaborate closely with product managers and designers to bring new features to life in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of web applications using modern technologies like React and Node.js .
- Design and implement efficient database schemas and queries for relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring robust integration between services.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code for both frontend and backend.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security across the entire stack.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React , Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong expertise in backend languages and frameworks like Node.js , Python (Django/Flask), or Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
