About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full Stack Developer to join their distributed technology team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining both the frontend and backend components of our innovative web applications. This role requires a blend of strong coding skills, architectural understanding, and a passion for building scalable, user-friendly solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers in an agile environment to deliver exceptional software.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement full-stack web applications using modern technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, Python).
- Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs and database schemas.
- Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and responsiveness across devices.
- Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.
- Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript) and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong backend development experience with languages like Node.js, Python, Java, or similar.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in a remote setting.
