About the Role
Our client, an innovative research and development firm located in Cambridge , is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust web applications, contributing to both front-end and back-end development. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient web applications across the full stack, from front-end interfaces to back-end services and databases.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using best practices in both front-end (e.g., React, Vue.js) and back-end (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java) technologies.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and system architecture for scalability and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of deployed applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Full Stack Development .
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Solid experience with back-end development languages and frameworks (e.g., Python/Django/Flask, Node.js/Express, Java/Spring).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
