Senior Full Stack Developer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer to join their innovative team in Cardiff . You will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience and robust functionality. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement user-facing features for web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Design and build scalable, efficient, and maintainable server-side applications and APIs using frameworks like Node.js, Django, or Ruby on Rails.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end services and databases.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code across the full stack.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional and visually appealing interfaces.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role, with at least 4 years of professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern JavaScript framework.
• Solid experience with back-end development languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby/Rails, Java/Spring).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
