About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Full Stack Developer to join their talented engineering team in Glasgow . Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Develop and optimize user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Manage and design relational and non-relational databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and contribute to cloud infrastructure management (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices in software development within the team in Glasgow .
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full stack development.
- Strong proficiency in both backend (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, C#) and frontend (e.g., JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js) technologies.
- Extensive experience with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and ORMs.
- Solid understanding of software architecture patterns, microservices, and RESTful API design.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
