Senior Full Stack Developer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic engineering team, operating on a fully remote basis, with their main office situated in Reading . You will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from designing and developing backend services to building robust and interactive frontend interfaces. This role is ideal for a developer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating scalable, high-performance web applications. You will have a significant impact on product development and technical strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using languages like Python, Node.js, or Java.
• Build and optimize responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to design schemas, write queries, and ensure data integrity and performance.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in both backend (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, C#) and frontend (e.g., JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js) technologies.
• Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a passion for clean, efficient code.
