Senior Full Stack Developer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic technology team in Oxford . You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying robust web applications, working across both the frontend and backend development stacks. This position requires a strong command of modern programming languages, frameworks, and database technologies, coupled with a passion for building scalable and efficient software solutions. You will collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that meet user needs and business objectives within a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using a combination of frontend and backend technologies.
• Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for both client-side and server-side logic.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement new features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Expertise in backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Python/Django, Node.js/Express, Java/Spring).
• Solid experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
