About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Senior Full Stack Developer to join their agile development team in Edinburgh . In this role, you will contribute to both the frontend and backend development of our client's innovative web applications, ensuring a seamless and robust user experience. You will work closely with product managers and designers, taking ownership of features from conception to deployment. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using modern languages and frameworks.
- Build responsive and engaging user interfaces using modern frontend technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and reliability across the full stack.
- Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code for both frontend and backend components.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to improving development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Proficiency in backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring) and frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong understanding of database design and management (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team setting.
