Senior Full Stack Developer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join their expanding technology department in Belfast . In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing sophisticated web applications across both front-end and back-end technologies. You will contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from conception and design to implementation and deployment, working closely with product owners and other engineers. This position offers a significant opportunity to influence technical direction and mentor other developers within a highly collaborative and innovative team environment, contributing to key projects that shape user experience and business functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Design and implement robust back-end services and APIs using languages like Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security across different devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, high-quality code.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and the agile development process.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js/Express, Python/Django, Java/Spring).
• Solid understanding of database design and management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
