About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and adaptable Senior Full Stack Developer to join their technology team in Nottingham . This role involves a comprehensive approach to software development, requiring expertise in both frontend and backend technologies. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality web applications that meet user needs and business objectives. Working within a collaborative team, you will contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, ensuring the creation of robust, scalable, and user-friendly software solutions in a hybrid working setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
- Design and build robust server-side logic and APIs using languages like Python or Node.js.
- Manage and optimize relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and potentially NoSQL databases.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code across the full stack, adhering to best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to architectural discussions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js , React, Angular).
- Strong experience with backend languages and frameworks such as Python (Django/Flask) or Node.js.
- Solid understanding of database design, development, and optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
