About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Full Stack Developer to join their technology team in Plymouth . This role requires a deep understanding of both frontend and backend development principles, enabling you to contribute across the entire technology stack. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust web applications, collaborating with a talented team to deliver innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, encompassing both frontend and backend components.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code across the full stack, using technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project requirements and technical solutions.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and server-side logic for speed and scalability.
- Implement and maintain robust testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, Ruby) and associated frameworks.
- Expertise in frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
