Senior Full Stack Engineer - Fintech

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their innovative team in Milton Keynes , focusing on the Fintech sector. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of cutting-edge financial technology solutions, working across both frontend and backend systems. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust full-stack applications using technologies like React, Node.js, and associated backend frameworks.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and services, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Implement and manage database solutions, including relational and NoSQL databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code for both frontend and backend components.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, high-quality user interfaces.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Full Stack Engineer , with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as React , Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong backend development skills with frameworks like Node.js , Express, or similar.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of software development principles, including testing, version control (Git), and CI/CD.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in Fintech development.
