Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

Our client, a fast-paced e-commerce solutions provider in Portsmouth , is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to bolster their development team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of web applications, encompassing both frontend user interfaces and backend logic, databases, and APIs. This role requires a versatile engineer capable of working across the entire stack to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. You will play a key role in driving technical innovation and ensuring the smooth operation of client platforms, working in a dedicated office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust web applications using both frontend and backend technologies.
• Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and database schemas.
• Implement responsive and engaging user interfaces, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code, adhering to industry standards and best practices .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full application stack.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full stack development .
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and a modern framework (e.g., Angular , React, Vue.js).
• Extensive experience with backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, Java/Spring).
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and potentially NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization is a plus.
