About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their dedicated IT team in Bristol . This role involves designing, developing, and deploying robust applications across both the frontend and backend. You will be instrumental in driving the technical vision for key projects, ensuring high-quality code, and contributing to the overall architecture. This position requires a commitment to working full-time in the office, allowing for direct collaboration and hands-on development within a focused team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Design and implement efficient APIs and database schemas.
• Create engaging and responsive user interfaces with a focus on user experience.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code for both frontend and backend components.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and troubleshooting efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack development .
• Proficiency in frontend technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java).
• Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs.
• Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for building high-quality software.
