About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their innovative technology team, working in a hybrid capacity in Southampton . You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable web applications, working across both frontend and backend technologies. This position requires a proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about building high-quality software. You will contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and help drive the technical direction of our client's product offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement full-stack web applications, from user interface to server-side logic and database management.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define and deliver features.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security across the entire stack.
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior members of the engineering team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in development, testing, and production environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern framework like React or Angular).
- Expertise in backend development using languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or C#, and experience with frameworks like Django, Spring, or .NET.
- Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL), API design, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a passion for continuous learning.
