About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and versatile Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their technology team in Edinburgh . This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development, enabling you to contribute across the entire software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers. This hybrid position offers the chance to work on exciting projects in a dynamic environment, contributing to the evolution of our core products.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain full-stack web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience and robust backend performance.
Design and implement scalable APIs and services using modern backend technologies.
Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks.
Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code across the entire stack.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimizing application performance and reliability.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in full stack development .
Proficiency in both front-end (e.g., JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue.js ) and back-end (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Ruby ) technologies.
Strong understanding of database design and management (SQL and NoSQL).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
