About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their fully remote team, supporting their operations originating from Portsmouth . This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable applications from the database to the user interface. You will be instrumental in driving technical decisions, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to a high-performance engineering culture. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs using languages like Node.js , Python , or Java .
- Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular .
- Manage and optimize database performance for both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices in software development and architecture.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in full stack development , with a proven track record of delivering complex applications.
- Strong expertise in both frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frameworks) and backend technologies.
- Proficiency in database design, development, and optimization.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS , Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Excellent understanding of software development principles, architectural patterns, and testing methodologies.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team .
