Full Stack Developer (PHP / React / Typescript / Symfony)
My client is hiring a Full Stack Developer to join their fully remote UK team, building and scaling a high-traffic platform.
- You must have full rights to work in the UK
- No sponsorship is offered
They primarily use Symfony and are open to Laravel developers willing to work with Symfony.
This is a senior role with real ownership and influence.
The Role
- Lead development of new features end-to-end
- Contribute to and influence technical design decisions
- Set and uphold backend development standards
- Take ownership of architectural improvements
- Work closely with Product to refine requirements and provide estimates
- Operate with autonomy in a small, high-performing team
Key Requirements
- 3-5 years’ professional PHP experience
- Strong modern PHP (7–8) and OOP knowledge
- Symfony (preferred) or strong Laravel experience
- 2+ years’ experience with TypeScript & React (or similar)
- Experience building high-traffic web applications
- Strong understanding of clean, testable code and engineering principles
- Experience with MySQL and HTTP APIs
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
