Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and iterate on complex gameplay systems and features using C++.
- Optimize code for performance, memory usage, and stability across various platforms.
- Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other programmers to ensure features are implemented according to design and quality standards.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, participating actively in code reviews.
- Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of the game.
- Mentor junior programmers and contribute to the team's technical growth and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional programming experience in game development, with a strong focus on gameplay systems.
- Expert proficiency in C++ and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce).
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
