Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant
Location: Hemel Hempstead Salary: £40,000 - £60,000
A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join their growing team in Hemel Hempstead. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced geoenvironmental professional looking for a varied role with strong technical and project management responsibilities.
The Role
Managing and delivering geoenvironmental and contaminated land projects Producing Phase 1 and Phase 2 reports Planning and supervising ground investigations Reviewing and interpreting ground investigation and laboratory data Developing conceptual site models and assessing contamination risks Supporting remediation strategies and validation Liaising with clients, contractors, regulators and other stakeholders Mentoring junior members of the team Supporting project management, budgets and programme deliveryThe Candidate:
Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering Geology or a related discipline Strong experience within geoenvironmental consultancy Good understanding of contaminated land and UK environmental legislation Experience with Phase 1/2 investigations and technical reporting Ground investigation and site supervision experience Strong communication and project management skills Ideally working towards or holding Chartered status with a relevant professional bodyThis is a great opportunity for a Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a growing consultancy, work on a diverse range of projects and take on increased technical and project responsibility
