About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and analytical Senior Geologist to join their forward-thinking exploration team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed geological mapping and data interpretation to identify prospective mineral deposits .
• Utilize advanced geophysical and geochemical data to refine exploration models and target generation.
• Prepare comprehensive geological reports, resource estimates, and technical presentations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the exploration team to develop and implement effective drilling and sampling programs.
• Mentor junior geologists and contribute to the overall technical growth of the department.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in geological software, techniques, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Geology or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mineral exploration, with a focus on economic geology .
• Proficiency in geological modeling software (e.g., Leapfrog, ArcGIS, Vulcan).
• Strong understanding of various deposit types and exploration methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and work autonomously in a remote setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
